This was an installation on the facade of Princess Towers in 2012 in conjunction with The Artel's Exhibition, What is to be done with Princess Towers?
Princess Towers is a landmark of Kingston – its Brutalist structure stand out among the limestone detailing and historic buildings which make up the down town. Its towering smooth facades and odd, seemingly misplaced appearance in Kingston’s skyline make this building both a familiarity in the city and a peculiarity for Kingston. The projected sixteen aphorisms acted as a kind of commentary for the city and the totalitarian and domineering facade of the building lent authority to the messages.
